Community - Student Careers Night 26th Aug 2009 - Envirolab Sydney

Tania Notaras was invited to give a presentation to the students regarding her career journey and to specifically talk about her background; summary of how shet got into her position and to provide insights into how she approached her carreer along the way.

The feed back recieved from the president of the organising committee was postive:

Dear Tania,

Thank you for your impressive contribution to our first Careers Night for 2009 on the 26th August and I hope that you enjoyed the night.

We received overwhelmingly positive feedback from the students. The students were grateful to receive the advice you gave based on your personal experiences and thought all speakers were informative and engaging.

Students rated the event as very informative as speakers provided them with insights into the graduate attributes employers look for, interview tips and the variety of careers paths and options available for science graduates.

Thank you for your participation and well done for being able to reach out to the students and broaden their horizons about potential future careers in science-related areas.

We have a report of the event up on our website if you would like to have a look http://www.bioinnovation.org.au

Once again we would like to thank you for your time and efforts in agreeing to be a speaker for us and you far exceeded our expectations.

Kind regards,

Alicia Donnelly
