From humble beginnings in 2012, the Scoresby facility was a launch pad into the Melbourne market.
However, to meet growing client needs and to ensure that they continue to consider us as their partner of choice for scientific services, our Melbourne laboratory will move in early June to a larger and more modern purpose-built premises. The new laboratory will be located at 25 Research Drive, Croydon South, Victoria 3136.
Significantly, the two words, ‘Research Drive’ are synonymous with Envirolab’s dedication to developing employees, whilst also cultivating future leaders in the scientific sector.
Tania Notaras, Managing Director and Founder of Envirolab Group said, ‘When we first heard the words, “Research Drive,” we were immediately excited about the location.’
‘The street name reflects our active involvement in giving back to the community and the profession by supporting staff development and inspiring education and learning of our future leaders in the field of science and the practice of chemistry.’
This purpose-built laboratory has been designed to optimise workflow.
Tania said, ‘The new laboratory will more than triple our capacity for testing services in the region and create space for new areas of testing as we continue to expand.’
The new laboratory premises will offer improved front entry access and parking for clients to drop samples. The larger and state-of-the-art laboratory will be adorned with additional equipment, which will further enhance the range and availability of testing suites. Over the coming months, new staff members will be also joining the team to ensure that clients continue to receive a fast turnaround and premium testing services.
Pamela Adams, Laboratory Manager at Envirolab Services Melbourne, said: ‘We are looking forward to move to Croydon South. The modern premises will offer superb facilities to both our clients and staff.’
As we have discovered from commencing the fitout during December last year, moving our laboratory from one location to another can be a complicated process, fraught with logistical challenges.
Analisa Mathrick, Business Development Manager – VIC, said: ‘The move is scheduled to take place out of business hours to minimise downtime and to ensure our clients remain up-to-date with their results.’
The physical move to the new laboratory location is expected to be in early June 2018.
During the week of the move, there may be a delayed response time as staff will be in the midst of this move. Whilst our team in Melbourne will endeavour to respond to client enquiries, we encourage calls to be made to our national number, 1300 424 344 and emails be sent to [email protected].
