Chain of Custody

Quality reporting starts at the beginning with the collection of samples and a properly completed Chain of Custody (COC) form. The COC enables accurate documentation of the process by detailing the collection, custody, transfer and analysis of samples. These controls also ensure that the holding times are met and verify the party in possession of the sample at all times.

Safety Data Sheets

Some of our sample bottles contain small amounts of chemicals that are used as preservatives. Each of the Safety Data Sheets (SDS) provide health and safety information on these chemicals and include the following:

  • The identity of the chemical
  • First aid measures
  • Firefighting measures
  • Accidental release measures
  • Handling and storage
  • Exposure control / personal protection
  • Stability and reactivity
  • Toxicology information
  • Ecological information
