Some of our team from our Perth lab, MPL Laboratories, are this week attending the 13th International Conference on Mine Closure, "#MineClosure2019," which will be taking place Tuesday, September 3 – Thursday, September 5 2019, at the Westin Perth.
About Mine Closure 2019
Organised by the Australian Centre for Geomechanics (ACG), a not-for-profit mining research centre based at The University of Western Australia Perth, this three day event brings together more than 460 delegates from the mining profession, policy making, services and other aspects of decision-making relating to the industry, to focus on issues relating to mine closure community globally.
The conference will also provide an open space for networking and the exchange of ideas regarding current and up-and-coming projects, which are essential in driving the sector to new heights.
Agenda and Main Themes
Attendees will be provided with topical and high quality papers and presentations on a range of topics of immediate interest and relevance including:
