Based in Perth, David, as Group Organics Manager, leads our extensive team of Chemists within the Organics departments of the Group's network of offices and laboratories.
With over 25 years’ experience in organic chemistry, and an extensive knowledge in ultratrace level analysis, David joined our team in February 2012 as Group Organics Manager. In this role, David has played a major role in building the Organic capabilities across the Group’s operations.
Originally from the UK, David initially gained exposure in a variety of projects relating to organic analytical methods, such as steroid analysis, AOX, VOCs, low level pesticides, speciated phenols and phenoxy acid herbicides in water, soil, biota and other matrices.
Relocating to Perth in 1997, David played a significant role in working with laboratories to attain NATA Accreditation for a vast range of SVOC, Organotins and VOC analytes. Based on the successful delivery of these projects, David was promoted to National Organic Manager where he continued to have a direct role in getting NATA Accreditation in Australia and India.
